We went to the supplier directly to see our choices and selected a very good looking stone
Instead of hardiplank, etc we used a special type of siding that is backed with Dupont Styrofoam which helped us get to an average of almost R-21 on the exterior walls and almost R-30 for the two-story walls.
There is a long balcony/Deck that extends the whole length of the Master Bedroom. We chose a high quality composite deck for no maintenance and a real wood look.
The garage is very important and we wanted it to follow the look of the house so we selected carriage house garage doors
